2008 Skywalker Light-Wind and Cruise
Top rider Dimitri Maramenides signature line reflects his unique style of kiting. Everybody who wants to approach Dimitri's skill level requires a proper equipment which is the best possible combination of necessary characteristics.Together with Dimitri we've managed to create a distinctive range of boards, which apart from last year's renowned shapes, includes a new uncompromising 127x42 freestyle board and a 135x43 light wind one.The whole range was mastered by modifying outlines, rail shapes, laminate composition and lots of other details. New boards are a bit stiffer than 2007 series what even improves their incredible pop. The new perforated top foil ensures an unparalleled visual effect. While designing the 2008 Pro line we put emphasis on retaining by our boards their previous image of the reliable and relatively comfortable equipment. Due to our innovative Fack'n'Strong composite core technology our boards have belonged for years to the lightest on the market. Introduced in 2005, this exclusive technology provides an unmatched robustness to weight ratio.
A light wind dream designed to get you out when most can't. In 2008 the 135 is the 10 knot wind machine designed with a flat bottom, resulting in a considerable pop and very early planning. With the 135 you will be able to have fun in 8 to15 knots of wind and it is probably the first board on the market designed to take advantage of the new medium to large SLE Kite increased performance envelope. The 135 is made in our traditional Airex C70 technology in order to make it more pricely bargain, since it is usually used as a second board.
